JK Physio, Physiotherapy Clinics in Orpington, Sevenoaks and Chichester.
Physiotherapy is the treatment and diagnosis of injury, overuse problems, or disease, by non surgical means. A Physiotherapist is also skilled at giving in depth advice on the management of these problems. This may include advice on whether to rest, exercise, apply ice, or use a brace for example. As well as ‘hands on’ techniques, Physiotherapists are often trained in other treatment means such as manipulation, electrotherapy, acupuncture and injection therapy.

Update 23 September: How we are helping our patients
We are still open and taking appointments
JK Physio are still able to offer appointments at our practices. We continue to operate a controlled re-booking system, to allow prioritisation of appointments dependent on each individual case. This ensures a blanket COVID -19 screening process whether you are an existing patient or new to our practice. Please be patient, as this is advised by our professional body guidelines. You can find out more here.
Prior to being offered an appointment you will need to undertake our telephone screening process and will be sent an on-line screening form. Our team wears appropriate PPE at all times and strict cleaning and hygiene measures are in place. However if you have returned from traveling to a country where you are required to self isolate, or you have been in contact with someone with Covid-19 symptomes, we ask that you wait a full 14 days before contacting us for an appoinment.
If you want to be considered for an appointment, please call the clinic or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are still operating a slightly reduced reception service but be reassured that all calls and email enquiries will be dealt with.
We are still offering Online Video and Phone Consultations
Our online consultations allow us to assess, advise, check exercises and modify and send new exercise protocols with videos giving you the support you need where needed. There will be a minimum charge of £25 for 15 minutes and £50 for 30 minutes including exercise prescription with video links.
As well as offering this to existing patients we will be offering this to any new patients that need help and advice. Here's what one of our client's said: "A huge thank you for adapting and offering online sessions. They have been invaluable in providing the continuity of care I need and are very interactive. Please can we keep as an option post Covid".
Online consultations are covered by AXAPPP and BUPA, and you will be able to claim in the usual manner.
