JK Physio, Physiotherapy Clinics in Orpington, Sevenoaks and Chichester.
Physiotherapy is the treatment and diagnosis of injury, overuse problems, or disease, by non surgical means. A Physiotherapist is also skilled at giving in depth advice on the management of these problems. This may include advice on whether to rest, exercise, apply ice, or use a brace for example. As well as ‘hands on’ techniques, Physiotherapists are often trained in other treatment means such as manipulation, electrotherapy, acupuncture and injection therapy.
Joanne Kingston has been involved in Physiotherapy for high class junior and senior athletes for many years. Update 5th November - Second Lockdown
We are authorised to remain OPEN to continue helping our patients
JK Physio are still able to offer ‘Face 2 Face’ appointments.
We continue to operate under strict Government and Professional Body guidelines. There will continue to be a blanket COVID -19 screening process for each appointment, whether you are an existing patient or new to our practice, either by way of an online form or a phone questionnaire.
If it is deemed inappropriate for you to be seen Face 2 Face for the protection of yourself or others, you will be offered an online video alternative, with fully integrated secure software and linked to you electronic records. You can find out more here.
Our team wear appropriate PPE at all times and strict cleaning and hygiene measures are in place. The clinic has recently undergone a fog disinfection as part of our routine hygiene measures during the Covid Pandemic.
JK Physio are also offering Online Video and Phone Consultation
If you are unable to attend for an INITIAL or a FOLLOW-UP session Face 2 Face, then your Physiotherapist will be happy to see you for an ‘ONLINE’ appointment. We set these up during the first lockdown and found them to be a very useful alternative. The video set up allows us to assess you, advise you to give relief or help recovery, and issue and instruct you in appropriate movements and exercises protocols. We can then send these movement and exercise protocols to you with full instructions and video demonstrations giving you the support you need to do them correctly.
There will be a minimum charge of £25 for 15 minutes and the standard appointment price would be £50 for 30 minutes including exercise prescription with video links.
Testimonial from one of patients:: "A huge thank you for adapting and offering online sessions. They have been invaluable in providing the continuity of care I need and are very interactive. Please can we keep as an option post Covid".
Online consultations are covered by AXAPPP and BUPA, and you will be able to claim in the usual manner.
If you would like further information and would like to book an online consultation please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Many thanks for your continued patience and support. I hope you are all keeping healthy and looking after yourselves and remember we are here to support you.
