Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists have had in depth training and have strongly developed skills and experience in diagnosing and explaining the origins of your symptoms. They are also highly trained and best placed to explain and help you understand the implications of their findings and how you can successfully manage and treat to gain a speedy recovery or maximise your ability, such as whether to rest, exercise, apply ice, or use a brace for example.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists will give in depth advice on the management of your problems. This may also include ‘hands-on’ techniques, such as joint and soft tissue mobilisation, joint manipulation and soft tissue massage techniques. They may also be trained in other treatment methods to complement their hands on approach, such as electrotherapy, acupuncture and injection therapy.
