Jo Kingston (Orpington & Chichester Clinics)

Jo first qualified as a Physiotherapist at Kings College, London over 20 years ago. Having gained many years hospital based experience, she decided to set up her private practice in 1996. Jo has a special interest in the treatment and management of back pain and has continued to add to her skill-set by undertaking an MSc in Orthopaedic Medicine as well as Post-graduate Sports Medicine qualifications.
Russell qualified in 2006 from St Georges University. He has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries in the field of sport, having worked at London Scottish, Blackheath Rugby clubs and for the Scottish Rugby Union.
He has worked for the Army and specialises in running injuries, running analysis and rehabilitation, helping elite runners and weekend warriors fulfil goals to participate in iron-man and marathon endurance events.
He is a keen cyclist having taken part in Race Across America 2018 as a soloist to raise money for charity riding over 12,000 miles in 2018.
He also has extensive experience of WorkStation Assessments and Manual Handling.
BSc (Hons) MRes MCSP ACPIVR
Nick qualified from University of Coventry with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2012 and later gained a Master’s Degree from University of Brighton specialising in vestibular physiotherapy.
Nick has specialist training in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and is a member of the ACPIVR (Assoc. of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Vestibular Rehabilitation). He has attended and presented his work at national and international conferences in this field and continues to work within the NHS at a specialist tertiary centre in London.
He spent 3 years working at Crystal Palace Football Club and also has a special interest in football related injuries and gait rehabilitation. He has worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy within the private sector since 2015.
Since completing a Physiotherapy masters at Brunel University, Amelia has worked with a wide range of clients in both a private and an NHS setting. ‘I enjoy the satisfaction that comes with helping clients reach and often exceed their targets’ says Amelia, who has always been interested in the role that psychology has to play in the larger picture of mind/body function. I always make a point of really listening to what it is that clients feel they want to achieve. By paying attention to our client’s overall wellbeing, as physiotherapists we can add immense value to the client on their journey.’
Outside of work Amelia can be found socialising, enjoying the outdoors, keeping fit, or in the kitchen cooking up delicious Persian food.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in 2012. Since then he has worked within both the NHS and private clinic settings gaining experience in treating a range of chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries.
He enjoys the management of chronic pain patients and the rehabilitation of knee injuries. He also takes a keen interest in functional movement patterns and has recently completed a Masters in Biomechanics.
Additionally, Chris works at Kings College NHS Foundation Trust and Crystal Palace Football Club.
Mikesh has gained broad clinical experience with patients varying from persistent pain to end stage rehabilitation and has also established a keen interest in assessment and management of the knee, particularly sports related knee injuries.
He has a personal interest in sports, specifically football and rugby and constructs sports specific rehabilitation programmes that yielded positive results, for example successfully returning a patient to playing football post ACL reconstruction.
Sonia graduated in 2009 as a Chartered Physiotherapist from St Georges University Hospital in Tooting. She has since qualified in Acupuncture and has gained membership to the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). She has also qualified in Pilates with the highly regarded Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). Sonia is the lead Physiotherapist in our Pilates Classes in Orpington.
Women’s Health Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons), PGCert, MCSP, MPOGP
Judi qualified with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from King’s College London over 20 years ago. In 2018 she completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Women’s Health Physiotherapy at Bradford University, passing with distinction, and therefore achieved full membership of POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy).
Ramakrishna is a highly experienced Consultant Physiotherapist, Musculoskeletal Sonographer and an Independent Prescriber.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Karnatak University, India in 2001 and gained a Post graduate diploma in Neuro Musculoskeletal Healthcare from Keele University in 2003.
After gaining significant clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Orthopaedics and Sports injuries, he went on to train in Injection Therapy and also gained Post-graduate Certification in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic & Interventional Ultrasound.
