JK Physiotherapy in Sevenoaks
JK Physio (Sevenoaks) opened at the beginning of 2014. The practice is in central Sevenoaks within the premises of Sevenoaks Podiatry. This is an exciting new venture due to the close working relationship with the Podiatrists who also work out the facilities.
Jo Kingston first set up in Private Practice in 1996 whilst working as a Clinical Specialist Chartered Physiotherapist within the NHS. For almost 15yrs the Practice, known as Joanne Kingston & Associates, was based in Crofton Consulting Rooms but moved to The Locksbottom Clinic in 2010 when Jo purchased and merged her business with Robyn Selby’s Physiotherapy Practice. The new business became JK Physio.
JK Physio has continued to develop and grow and is one of the most well established, recognised and favoured practices in the area.
Jo Kingston has strived to develop a business offering a service to patients with the utmost attention to quality, evidence based practice and customer service. The Physios at JK Physio has developed a personally tailored Physiotherapy service offering the care your body deserves.
She believes that recovery from injury or management of pain depends on a successful relationship between Physiotherapist and patient. Despite our growth we have maintained a very large and loyal client base and continue to make our service personal and client focused.
The team of Physiotherapists also work closely with Podiatrists at the Sevenoaks Practice. Podiatrists are experts in biomechanical assessment of abnormal loads through the feet, which can result in problems with the knees, hips and spine. Improving the foot alignment with orthotics (insoles) can help to alleviate symptoms elsewhere, which when combined with the necessary Physiotherapy intervention can give great results.
